Twosixtour Blues

Exactly a month ago, Jo & I set out on one hell of a journey to make it across the country with a literal dollar & a dream, all in twenty six days. It's safe to say we accomplished that and so much more along the way. To think of everything that happened within the past month brings me so many emotions, all of which i'm still processing while typing this. If I'm being honest, I even dropped some tears on the way home just realizing that we really accomplished everything we set out to do and man that shit felt good, I believe “Lonely at the top" was playing in my headphones at the time.

Being alone for the first time in like a month feels off to me. Even as someone who genuinely enjoys solitude, I find it a bit difficult to just be still at the moment and I guess that's the part of the tour I didn't account for. The “blues" or missing out on everything once it was all said and done is I guess what I'm feeling right now. Don't get it twisted, I made sure to be present each and every day, in every conversation and interaction, but there's something about going straight from survival mode into comfort that is hard to adjust to. I woke up today in my own bed, opened my own fridge & cooked, and don't have to worry about where I'll lay my head tonight, things we were constantly forced to figure out on the fly, daily.

This trip honestly taught us way too much in such a short time and those are things I can't wait to share with you all. So many unseen moments, impactful stories, and split second decisions that all led up to Fayetteville. God truly aligned this thing way too perfectly and before anything else, please understand that none of this would be possible without the big man upstairs. I feel like this project was an accumulation of everything I've ever learned on this creative journey of mine, and as I pursue this creative director/filmmaker dream of mine, I feel that I truly have what feels will be my best piece of work up to this point. Patience will test me more than ever as I feel the weight of telling this story alongside Jo, and it's my prayer that those of you invested in this project will have some to spare too. I don't want to rush this documentary and although I feel the self inflicted pressure to get it done, I'll make sure to take all the time necessary and give this story the time it needs to be told.

In the meantime, we'll continue to share moments and stories from the tour on our social channels. This project started with the intention of telling other fan's stories and that's the way it'll end. This tour is far from over, and well I guess if you made it to this blog you truly care about what we have to say so here's a few secrets I don't mind sharing. We want to make merch, do a in-person theater viewing, and well, make it overseas….all in God's will of course.

Thank you to everyone who supported whether that be financially, with a meal, a ride or just stopping to hear what we we're up to. God bless + Safety to you!
